Liverpool withdraw from Isaac deal

Liverpool FC has made a resounding decision to withdraw from the deal to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak during the current summer transfer window.

Liverpool identified Isak as a prime target this summer to bolster the team’s attacking options and provide the best players before the start of the new season.

British press reports indicated on Friday that Newcastle United had rejected a hefty opening bid from Liverpool.

According to the BBC, Liverpool withdrew from the deal for Isak after rejecting a £110 million (without add-ons) offer from Newcastle.

Liverpool made an attacking signing last week, signing Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt in a massive deal worth €80 million, plus another €15 million in add-ons.
