Guardiola’s first comment after winning the Premier League Coach of the Year award

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola commented on being crowned the best coach of the season in the English Premier League.

And the English Premier League announced that Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, won the best coach of the season award in the competition.

Guardiola said in statements to the official Premier League website: “I am happy, it is an incredible honour.”

And the Spanish coach concluded: “I promise you that next season we will be there to fight again to honor this league as much as possible.”

This is the fourth time that Guardiola has been awarded the best coach of the season in the English Premier League, after the seasons 2017-2018, 2018-2019 and 2020-2021.

Guardiola outperformed Mikel Arteta, Roberto De Zerbi, Unai Emery, Eddie Howe and Marco Silva in voting for the award.
