Return of a key star: Flick announces Barcelona’s squad for the PSG match

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick announced the team’s squad for the match against Paris Saint-Germain this evening, Wednesday, at the Olympique Lluís Companys Stadium in the second round of the Champions League group stage.
The squad includes the return of left-back Alejandro Balde, who received medical clearance this afternoon after recovering from a left hamstring injury he sustained on September 3 during training at the Ciutat de Sant Joan Despí.
Balde has since missed five matches: four in La Liga (Valencia, Getafe, Oviedo, Real Sociedad) and one in the Champions League against Newcastle.
Despite Balde’s return, Barcelona continues to suffer from several significant absences, most notably: Marc-André ter Stegen (long-term injury), Juan Garcia, Gavi, Fermin López, and Rafinha.
Barcelona began their European campaign with a valuable 2-1 away victory over Newcastle United, thanks to a Marcus Rashford brace, establishing themselves as a strong contender to challenge Paris Saint-Germain for the group lead in an early clash between two of the most prominent contenders to win the continental title next May.
