Chelsea trio and Arsenal defender on Milan’s table
The Rossoneri are looking to strengthen their back line before the start of the new season

AC Milan’s management has set its sights on Belgian defender Kone De Winter, after Malick Thiaw was close to leaving the Rossoneri for Newcastle United.
According to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Thiaw’s move to England for €35 million, plus €5 million in bonuses, prompted Milan to contact Genoa to inquire about the possibility of signing De Winter.
The newspaper added that De Winter is not the only name on Milan’s radar. Coach Massimiliano Allegri is also interested in Parma defender Giovanni Leone, but his high price tag, coupled with the monitoring of Premier League clubs, complicates the deal.
In the same context, Milan has requested information from Fiorentina regarding the possibility of signing Pietro Comozzo.
The Italian club’s officials are also meeting with their Chelsea counterparts on Sunday on the sidelines of a friendly match between the two teams. The Rossoneri are considering names such as Trevor Chalobah, Renato Veiga, and Axel Disasi as potential options, as they are no longer in the Blues’ plans. Current Nottingham Forest defender and former Fiorentina player Nikola Milenkovic and Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior are among the candidates to join Milan, but their affiliations with Premier League clubs could make them more expensive than De Winter or Comuzzo.
