Inter Milan resume negotiations with Chelsea striker

Inter Milan officials are seeking to sign French striker Christopher Nkunku, a Chelsea player, during the current summer transfer window.

According to Calciomercato, Inter’s management has decided to resume talks with Nkunku’s representatives after Atalanta rejected their €45 million bid for Nigerian Ademola Lookman.

The Chelsea striker is the second option to bolster the Nerazzurri’s attack next season if they fail to sign the Nigerian international, who has expressed his desire to wear the Vipers jersey.

However, in recent hours, talks have resumed between the Italian club and Nkunku’s agents, hoping to complete a transfer to the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

Although Chelsea are willing to part ways with the former Leipzig striker, his high salary could stand in the way of a move to Inter, as he earns €6.5 million annually.
