Real Madrid announces its first friendly match before the start of the season

Real Madrid announced today, Friday, that it will play a friendly match as part of its preparation program for the 2025-26 football season, where it will face the Austrian team WSG Tirol on August 12.

The match will be held at the Tivoli Stadium in Innsbruck, Austria, at 7:00 PM Central European Time.

This match is part of Real Madrid’s preparations, led by coach Xabi Alonso, to prepare the players for the start of the new season.

The broadcast channel for the match has not yet been announced, whether on the official Real Madrid channel (RMTV) or any other sports channel.

This friendly match is an important test for the team, especially for new signings and players returning from injuries, as it will be the last opportunity to assess their physical and technical readiness before the start of the Spanish League.

Real Madrid will begin their La Liga campaign on August 19 against Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
