Rashford deal on Juventus’ table

Juventus are considering signing Manchester United star Marcus Rashford during the current summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports Italia, talks between the two clubs regarding United star Jadon Sancho have opened the door to talks about Rashford, who, like Sancho, does not appear to be part of Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim’s plans.
However, a deal for Rashford would require higher financial terms than a deal for Sancho, both in terms of the transfer fee and the player’s high salary.
Rashford was put up for sale last January amid reports linking him with a move to Milan, but he ultimately left on loan to Aston Villa in the English Premier League.
Juventus, which is seeking to bolster its attacking line in preparation for the new season, sees Sancho as a more realistic option than Rashford at the moment. However, the talks between the parties regarding the two players reflect the Italian club’s desire to exploit Manchester United’s situation to sign high-quality players at reasonable prices.
With financial obstacles still standing in the way of a Rashford deal, negotiations are still in their early stages, while a Sancho deal appears closer to being finalized in the coming days.
Rashford is reportedly on the radar of several European clubs, most notably Barcelona.
