Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson has changed his mind about moving to the Premier League, in an apparent blow to Tottenham’s transfer hopes.

Spurs have long been linked with the striker, who has 14 goals and three assists in Serie A this season.

But they will have to look elsewhere as Gudmundsson does not plan on leaving.

“(I’ll leave) only for a crazy opportunity,” he told Sportweek.

“As a child I dreamt of the Premier, but now I have changed my mind: here is life.

Chelsea back of the queue for Rafael Leao

Premier League clubs look set to miss out on Rafael Leao.

Chelsea are one team regularly linked with the AC Milan winger along with French champions PSG, but Saudi club Al Hilal have taken pole position to land him this summer.

Tuttosport say they are ready to offer over £85m to sign Leao with a hefty personal terms offer on the way.

However, Milan want his full £150m release clause and it is not clear that the player would accept such a move.
