The website indicated in its report that under current ownership rules, Girona’s participation would create a huge problem for Manchester City due to belonging to the same company.
What is interesting is that this will happen in the rare case that City occupies a position in the English Premier League lower than the position that Girona will occupy on the other side in the Spanish League, so Liverpool and Arsenal will directly affect this matter as they are the fiercest duo in the struggle for the Premier League.
