In the absence of Guardiola, Ten Hag is nominated for named Manager of the Month
Today, Thursday, the English Premier League announced the nominees for the Premier League Coach of the Year award this November.
Fan votes will be combined with the votes of a panel of football experts, to determine the winner, who will be revealed next week.
The shortlist includes Luton Town coach Rob Edwards, who knocked his team out of the bottom three, and oversaw their first home win against Crystal Palace, and a 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
There is Newcastle coach Eddie Howe, who achieved two wonderful wins with his team at home, as Newcastle dominated Chelsea with a 4-1 win, and ended Arsenal’s unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 win.
The third candidate is Bournemouth coach Andoni Iraola, whose side won 2 out of 3 matches in November, including an impressive 2-0 win over Newcastle and a 3-1 victory over relegation rivals Sheffield United. It is his first win outside his home this season.
Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag completes the list, as his team won and kept a clean sheet against Fulham, Luton and Everton to rise to sixth place in the table, only 6 points behind the lead.
