“What did we gain by admitting the mistake?” Jurgen Klopp requests a rematch of Liverpool vs Tottenham!

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp suggested that his team’s match against Tottenham in the last round of the English Premier League be replayed due to the wrong refereeing decision that cost the Reds the loss of the match.

After revealing a clear audio recording expressing the error of the VAR and arena referees in not counting Luis Diaz’s goal for Liverpool, Klopp does not believe that is enough.

He said in his statements during the press conference for Liverpool’s match against Belgian Saint-Geloise in the European League: “Nothing has changed after hearing these audio recordings. I am certain that no one intended to commit this, but it is a clear mistake.”

He added: “I see that the match will be replayed. This would be a solution, but as far as I remember, this has never happened before.”

He also pointed out that “there must be urgent solutions for this type of mistake.” Liverpool had lost 2-1 in the last moments to Tottenham in one of the most important summits of the English Premier League.
