Xavi reveals his greatest victories and toughest rivals with Barcelona!

Xavi Hernandez is preparing to play his 100th match with Barcelona, as technical director, when he faces Porto, the Portuguese club, next Wednesday evening in the Champions League.

Xavi took over the technical leadership of the Catalan team in November 2021, and achieved many successes with his team, and topped the podiums again.

During his interview with the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Xavi revealed his greatest victories with the Catalan team, and its most difficult rivals, and said: “Winning the Spanish Super Cup, last season, was my best match, as that was my first championship as a coach, while the victory over Espanyol was four goals to two, which… He secured the league championship for us after an absence of four years. That was the most memorable win for me.”

Regarding the most difficult teams he faced, Xavi revealed that Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are the most difficult, noting that the defeat by the Bavarian team in the Champions League last season was his most difficult loss.

The Spanish coach talked about the most difficult players he faced and said: “Marcus Rashford, Manchester United player, Karim Benzema, and Vinicius Junior, the Real Madrid duo, are the most difficult players I have faced.”
