Madrid derby confirms Ancelotti’s point of view

A Spanish press report revealed today, Monday, that the Madrid derby, which ended with a 3-1 victory for Atletico, proved the correct point of view of Italian Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s coach.

According to the Spanish network “Relevo”, the derby match proved that Ancelotti was right, when he asked the Real Madrid management last summer to support the attack and right back with more players.

She pointed out that Real Madrid lost in attack the efforts of Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Mariano Diaz and Eden Hazard, while the Royal team included Joselu, Arda Guler and Ibrahim Diaz in return for them.
She explained that Joselu, despite his commitment, is unable to replace Benzema, and Ibrahim Diaz is not as important as Asensio to Ancelotti.

She stated that Asensio was a trump card for the Italian coach, who did not believe that Diaz could play the same role, and for this reason he was the last to enter the field in the derby among the substitutes.

She said that Ancelotti had to create a lineup full of midfielders in the derby to maintain the solidity of the team, and not because he was convinced of this plan.

She added that the right-back also proved that Ancelotti was right when he warned the management that he represented a serious problem for most of last season.

It was reported that Real Madrid’s defense becomes unbalanced whenever Dani Carvajal is absent, and Ancelotti tried to address this matter by introducing Nacho instead of Lucas Vazquez in the derby.
