What is the most suitable formation for Manchester United this season?

Alejandro Garnacho is preparing for the new season with Manchester United and should secure a regular role with Ten Hag

There were two chants at Old Trafford last season, one being ‘We don’t want the Glazers’ and the other being ‘Come on, Garnacho’.

Garnacho was already well known after contributing to the FIFA World Youth Championship with England. Then he participated with the first team in a number of matches, and had it not been for his injury, he would have achieved more.

The 19-year-old forward, who is already an Argentina international, wants to achieve more this season, but his only problem is that he shares the same position with Marcus Rashford.

However, the solution to this matter lies in playing him on the right flank, and he will have a greater chance of occupying Anthony’s position from Rashford.

Anthony was involved in so many iconic moments last season that now make him an option for Ten Hag.

Manchester United should not be giving him away now, but Ten Hag is at a loss, has to decide which striker and defender and rely on new goalkeeper Andre Onana and several players in the squad.

Yalla Shoot takes a look at the Manchester United squad this season, led by Dutchman Ten Hag.

Andre Onana
The Cameroonian was signed by Ten Hag to replace De Gea, and indeed, Onana has the capabilities that Manchester United and his coach want.

Onana leads his defenders, he has a really strong personality, and this is what Ten Hag needs in his team now, in order to compete with the top English Premier League and Europe.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Wan-Bissaka was one of United’s most improved players last season, securing his place in the starting line-up from Diego Dalot.

The duo will be competitive this season for the right-back position, and despite the fact that the Portuguese player is more offensive, Wan-Bissaka is more stable and may be the first choice, especially in front of the big teams.

Raphael Farran
Varane will undoubtedly be in the main team, but his exposure to many injuries means that he will have to miss a number of matches, and here will come the role of Victor Lindelof.

Varane has gained a lot of experience after winning the World Cup and five Champions Leagues, and he was able to form a strong partnership with Lisandro Martinez, and his focus will be greater than United after announcing his international retirement earlier this year.

Lisandro Martinez
The Argentine defender silenced the doubters with a solid first season at United. He showed the ability to pass and the courage to advance the ball from behind under pressure.

Martinez’s real impact became evident last April after he was injured, but the team was able to secure a seat in the Champions League, and the player appeared well in the pre-season preparation period without the injury affecting his desire to compete and win.

Luke Shaw
The England international full-back was one of the most consistent players last season, making the difference after competing with Tyrell Malacia.

Shaw has also become a reliable left-back and central defender, and was able to take Harry Maguire’s place at one point, and he will be useful to the team this season in the full-back position, adding to the team with his great defensive capabilities.

Bruno Fernandes
By the end of last season, the Portuguese was one of the favorite players for the Red Devils fans.

Fernandes dominated the midfield last season, was influential and fit in most of the team’s matches, and assisted the Brazilian Casemiro.

And the current season, after the arrival of Mount, he may find some rest to support in the attack.

Casemiro
The arrival of the Brazilian to the team last season was a big plus for United, and much can be expected from him next season.

United were unlucky, having Casemiro sent off twice and missing eight matches through suspension, especially with the team floundering in his absence.

Mason Mount
There is some pressure on Mount after Manchester United paid a huge sum for him from his boyhood club Chelsea.

Ten Hag admires the young Englishman and is confident he can bring a lot to his squad, both offensively and defensively.

Alejandro Garnacho
The teenager has done well in pre-season and is a fan favorite at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag warned him to pay more attention to the plans presented by him, in order to fit the team’s way of playing. The Argentinian has a great talent, and it is time for him to appear.

Rasmus Hollund
In an ideal world, the young Denmark international would have learned a lot and had the opportunity to be involved in every game for the team. But Martial’s injury problems meant he would be a regular starter for a long time, until Martial’s return in December.

It seems that Hoilund has a great mentality, which will make him compensate the team for the value of the deal, which amounts to 91 million euros.

Marcus Rashford
Having enjoyed the best season of his career, there will be a lot of pressure on Rashford to deliver an even better season and prove he’s not just playing for his contract.

He will have to play as a center forward due to injuries to Hollund and Martial, but may play more on the wing should Hollund excel as a center forward.
