Antoine Griezmann alludes to his departure to the MLS!

Antoine Griezmann, the star of the Spanish club Atletico Madrid, spoke about the transfer of Lionel Messi to Inter Miami this summer and his brilliance since his participation with the team.

Griezmann announced, previously, that he wanted to end his career in the American League, and former stars repeated this matter, but the influence of the current Messi has not been achieved by anyone before, as the Argentine has scored 9 goals in six matches so far and led Inter Miami to qualify for the final of the American League Cup.

Griezmann said in a virtual press conference organized by LaLiga and ESPN to highlight the start of the new season of the Spanish League: “Yes, I followed Messi, he is one of the best players in history. Messi to show the quality of the sport there, he can be the image of football in the United States.”

He added, “My goal is to finish my football career there and be able to enjoy the league and all the other sports tournaments there because I follow them and I’m a real fan. I want to be able to play there and win trophies.”

And he continued his remarks, saying: “I believe that the new signings and younger players from South America will improve the level of the league and make it bigger and stronger.”

And about his fate with his team, Atletico Madrid, Griezmann said: “I would like to continue making history here and winning the title with Atletico. We will see the future, but for me one of my goals is to play in the American League.”

Griezmann and Atletico Madrid will begin their La Liga campaign this weekend when they travel to face Real Betis, while Messi and Inter Miami will meet Nashville next Saturday as they look to win the club’s first League Cup title.
