After Courtois.. Real Madrid announces Militao’s injury to the cruciate ligament

Real Madrid announced that Brazilian defender Eder Militao had been diagnosed with a cut in the cruciate ligament.

Eder Militao was injured during his team’s match against Athletic Bilbao, yesterday, Saturday, in the first round of the Spanish League, “La Liga”.

The Royal Club issued an official statement, confirming that Militao had been diagnosed with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The Royal Club indicated that the Brazilian defender will undergo surgery in the coming days.

Militao’s injury to the cruciate ligament is the second injury to hit the royal club, after Thibaut Courtois, the royal club’s goalkeeper, also cut the cruciate ligament in the team’s training.

Spanish press reports indicate that Militao will be absent from Real Madrid for at least 6 months.
