Hazard decides to stay at Real Madrid

The Belgian Eden Hazard, the Real Madrid player, still aspires to erase the lingering image in the minds of his club’s fans about him. He will have a year to make it happen.

Yesterday, Saturday, Real Madrid won the King’s Cup after defeating Osasuna 2-1 in the final.

“To complete the remaining year on my contract? Of course,” Hazard told Radio Cadena Ser after the match, in which he did not participate.

Hazard’s contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2024, and the player he hopes has not been achieved since he came to the team in the summer of 2019. He also spends most of the time off the team’s list due to injuries.

And the former captain of the Belgium national team continued, “I wished to play more minutes. It was a difficult year, but with a very big team.”

Eden played a few games this season, 5 in the league (133 minutes), three in the Champions League (131 minutes), and 67 minutes in a cup match.

Hazard stressed his good relations with his coach and colleagues, “I have a good relationship with the coach and my colleagues. I would like to play, but I know how difficult it is and I know that I have to work to reach that.”

German Toni Kroos, Hazard’s colleague at Real Madrid, had said earlier that he had no pity for Eden or anyone in the football world.
