Cristiano Ronaldo is chastised by Al-Nassr’s manager after goalless draw with Al Feiha
Rudi Garcia, the manager of Al-Nassr, was dissatisfied with Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates’ performance in the goalless Saudi Pro League tie against Al-Feiha on Monday (April 10).
Al-Nassr were unable to break the deadlock on the road and are now three points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad. Garcia has expressed his dissatisfaction with the outcome. After the game, the French manager said SSC (via GOAL):
“The result is unquestionably bad, and we are dissatisfied.” I’m not pleased with the players’ performance. I asked them to play at the same level as in the previous game (a 5-0 victory over Al-Adalah), but this did not occur.”
He continued
“There are seven games left; we will try to recover; we realise it won’t be easy after losing two points, but anything is possible.”
Ronaldo had scored twice against Al-Adalah. The Portuguese superstar, on the other hand, had a somewhat low-key performance by his lofty standards. He came close to scoring twice with free kicks. Ronaldo also put up Abdulrahman Ghareeb with a beautiful ball, but the opportunity was squandered.
From 23 games, Al-Nassr have accrued 53 points. Next Tuesday, April 18, they will be back in action as they take on Al-Hilal in the Riyadh derby.
