AC Milan squad and team news

Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud should be available for the start of the match against Napoli, therefore Pioli had this game in mind when selecting his starting lineup against Empoli.

The same is true for Simon Kjaer, Rade Krunic, and Brahim Diaz, though Kjaer might have to compete with teenager Malick Thiaw for a centre-back position there. Due to calf problem, Pierre Kalulu is out.

AC Milan possible XI: Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Kjaer, Hernandez; Tonali, Krunic, Bennacer; Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

Napoli squad and team news

Giovanni Simeone, the second-in-command of the Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, who is already out injured for Napoli, has come into question after picking up a knock during Lecce’s victory.

Giacomo Raspadori and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia serve as suitable backups for the Argentine in the attack in the case that he is deemed unfit for the match.

Napoil possible XI: Meret; Di Lorenzo, Kim, Rrahmani, Rui; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Lozano, Raspadori, Kvaratskhelia.
