Romelu Lukaku discusses his celebration against Benfica:That’s a secret and all a matter of mentality and concentration

Romelu Lukaku said that he promises to unveil the secret of his goal celebration at the end of the season as he sees that Inter could have defeated Benfica by three or four goals in the Champions League quarterfinal.

Joao Mario’s handling violation earned the Belgian international a penalty, which he converted to secure a 2-0 victory at the Estadio da Luz.

Assisting on Alessandro Bastoni’s cross, Nicol Barella scored the game’s first goal with his first header while wearing the Nerazzurri jersey.

“The penalty is all a matter of mentality and concentration. I don’t listen to anyone, not even my teammates,” When asked how he managed to keep a spot-on record, Lukaku told Sport Mediaset.

“Considering my prior performances, I can see their reasons. I support the squad in whatever way I can while also working to get back in shape. We have a duty to represent this club well, so we must perform well against Monza right away.

“That’s a secret; I’ll reveal it at the end of the season. We played a smart game today, we probably would have added three or four more goals. Even yet, a score of 2-0 is a good result, and we now need to repeat this performance in Serie A.

“We must discuss why we aren’t doing in the same manner in Serie A since it is an important competition”.
