Manchester City’s 3-0 UCL victory over Bayern Munich has sparked outrage on Twitter.

Tuesday’s first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals at the Etihad saw Manchester City thrash Bayern Munich 3-0. (Aprill 11). As they followed the action on Twitter, fans erupted.

In the 27th minute, Rodri scored with a magnificent left-footed strike to get things started. The Spanish midfielder turned his opponent before curling the ball into the goal. That was his first goal in the UEFA Champions League, and he made sure it was a memorable one.

Bayern was the club that controlled the most of possession at the Etihad, despite the fact that City had more shots on goal. But Pep Guardiola’s team resisted being dismantled by Thomas Tuchel’s side.

The visitors’ situation was made worse by Bernardo Silva’s goal in the 70th minute. Erling Haaland, a Norwegian goal scorer turned provider, made a beautiful ball to Silva. Using his head, the Portuguese international elegantly completed the motion. Haaland scored his 45th goal of the year from close range, and Bayern was unable to respond, much to the pleasure of the crowd.
