The FA imposes a harsh fine on Everton

The FA Association decided to fine Everton 300,000 pounds (328,000 dollars) after fans stormed the stadium of the match that brought together Everton and Crystal Palace in Premier League on May 19.

And the British news agency “BA Media” reported that the fans entered the Goodison Park stadium, in the match that Everton won (3-2), which ensured the team’s presence in the Premier League last season.

After Dominic Calvert Lewin’s goal in the 84th minute, the crowd stormed the stadium, and a second storm occurred after the final whistle sounded, as Crystal Palace coach Patrick Vieira entered into an altercation with one of the fans.

The FA accused Everton of the incident last July and revealed the punishment today, Friday.

A spokesman for the FA stated that Everton was fined 300,000 pounds sterling, after the team’s fans stormed the stadium against Crystal Palace twice, the first in the 84th minute and the second after the end of the match that was held on Thursday, May 19, which is a violation of the rule ( E20).
