Crystal Palace was eliminated from the third round of the FA Cup by Southampton, and it is in 12th place in Premier League table, with 27 points.

Crystal Palace is away from the relegation zones in the competition, by only 3 points.

Crystal Palace is preparing for a difficult match against its leaders, Arsenal, next Sunday, in the 28th round.

“Results in recent months have put us in a precarious position in the league, and we felt that change was necessary to give us the best chance to improve,” said Steve Parish, chairman of Crystal Palace, in a statement posted on the club’s official website.
