Liverpool regains its player from Leipzig
German club Leipzig decided to end Fabio Carvalho’s career with the team, less than 6 months after he joined, on loan from Liverpool for one season.
The club announced in an official statement today, Sunday, the end of the young player’s loan, and his immediate return to the Reds.
The Portuguese midfielder has not had the opportunity to play regularly under the leadership of German coach Marco Rose since he joined the team in the summer.
The 21-year-old appeared in 15 matches in various tournaments with Leipzig this season, during which he did not score or assist any goals.
Carvalho suffered from sitting on the bench in many matches without being included, in addition to being played for a few minutes in other matches.
