Laporta asks for help from Barcelona fans before El Clasico

Barcelona’s president, Joan Laporta, spoke to the club’s fans, asking him to stand by the team, in Clasico match, against Real Madrid.

Barcelona will face Real Madrid, next Sunday, at 11 pm Saudi time, at Camp Nou, in the Spanish League.

Laporta addressed the Blaugrana fans, through the club’s official channels, saying: “We have a great match this Sunday, and I ask you to come, to encourage the team more than ever, because we have a great opportunity to win the league.”

On the club’s issue with the former vice-chairman of the arbitration committee, he said: “The campaign through which we suffer is not a coincidence, and you all know it. Their goal is to destabilize the team first, and then control Barcelona.”

He added, “I will have time later to explain who and why. I have no doubt that we will defend ourselves, and we will not only defend, we will attack, but for now we must focus on encouraging the team on Sunday.”

It is worth noting that Barcelona leads the La Liga standings, 9 points ahead of Real Madrid, in second place.
