330 million is not enough! Chelsea tied with Fulham

Chelsea drew 0-0 at home to Fulham at Stamford Bridge in the opening of the twenty-second week of Premier League.

This came in the first Blues match after the end of a winter market of fire, during which 329.5 million euros were spent, according to the Transfer Market website, to include 8 players.

Chelsea signed Joao Felix on loan for 11 million euros, David Datro Fofana for 12 million euros, Andre Santos for 12.5 million euros, Malu Justo for 30 million euros, Noni Madueki for 35 million euros, Benoit Badiachel for 38 million euros, and Michaelo Modric for 70 million euros, and the market closed with the most expensive player in the history of the English Premier League: Enzo Fernandez for 121 million euros.

The formation of the Blues witnessed the return of Reece James from injury, the emergence of Moroccan Hakim Ziyech after the failure of his move to Paris Saint-Germain, and the start of 3 winter deals, namely Badiachel, Enzo and Modric.

3 missed opportunities from the German in the first half, as he received Thiago Silva’s pass and touched the ball to be blocked by goalkeeper Bernd Leno in the 20th minute, before it became clear that he was offside.

And in 25th minute, the response came from Andreas Pereira with a wonderful shot, which goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga shone in to clear it.

Mason Mount sent a dangerous cross that reached Havertz in the 31st minute, so that the German’s shot passed next to the post.

In 45th minute, Havertz received a pass from Ziyech and singled the goalkeeper to hit the ball over him, but it hit the post in the end.
