Real Madrid loses new player against Manchester City

Real Madrid officially announced today, Sunday, the absence of one of its players from the upcoming match against Manchester City in the Champions League due to injury.
Real Madrid will be visiting Manchester City next Tuesday at the Etihad Stadium in the first leg of the play-off to qualify for the round of 16 of the Champions League.
Real Madrid issued a statement on its official website, revealing that Lucas Vazquez had an injury to the hamstring muscle of his left foot.
The statement added that the player will undergo further medical examinations to determine the duration of his absence from the stadiums.
Vazquez participated as a starter in the Madrid derby yesterday, Saturday, against Atletico, and left in the 81st minute and was replaced by his teammate Eduardo Camavinga.
Press reports indicate that Vazquez will be out of the stadiums for a period ranging from two to three weeks.
Real Madrid suffers defensively with injuries to many of its players, namely: Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger.
