Manchester United have given preliminary approval for the departure of Brazilian midfielder Casemiro to Flamengo on loan.
Casemiro does not participate regularly with Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim and is seeking to leave in order to get a chance to play.
The winter transfer market in Brazil extends until February 28.
According to the global “Goal” network, quoting the Brazilian newspaper “Bolvibe”, Manchester United does not mind Casemiro leaving for Flamengo until the end of the season on loan.
The report added that Manchester United will pay part of the player’s salary during the loan period.
Filipe Luis, the former Atletico Madrid and Chelsea full-back and Flamengo coach, is seeking to benefit from the services of his compatriot Casemiro.
Casemiro moved to Manchester United in the summer of 2022, coming from Real Madrid.
Flamengo is preparing to participate in the Club World Cup, which will be held this summer in the United States of America, with the participation of 32 teams.
