Brazil gives Ancelotti last chance

The Brazilian Football Confederation has given Italian Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid coach, a final deadline to make his final decision on taking over as coach of the Selecao.

The Brazilian national team is currently led by coach Dorival Junior, and the Samba team’s results are not going well with him, especially in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where it ranks fifth.

According to the Spanish network “OK Diario”, the Brazilian Football Confederation contacted those close to Ancelotti, following the Spanish Super Cup, and informed them of the need to decide his final position next May, whether to accept or reject the position.

It added that the Brazilian Federation does not want to wait for Ancelotti for a longer period, especially since he has been their target since the departure of former coach Tite, following the 2022 World Cup.

Ancelotti’s journey with the Merengue is expected to end at the end of the current season, according to Spanish press reports.

This time will be the last chance for the former Milan, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain coach to lead the Selecao.

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid’s results have been fluctuating with Ancelotti this season, both locally and in Europe, and it also lost the Super Cup title to its rival Barcelona.
