Ancelotti: The Champions League final is the best match and it is where we want to be
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes that the future will be good for his team because it has a young team.
Real Madrid is preparing to face Bayern Munich this evening at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the second leg of the European Champions League semi-finals.
Ancelotti said on the TNT Sports network: “I am very happy to win the La Liga because it was a difficult tournament and we faced a lot of problems and we were able to solve them with a wonderful commitment from the players.”
He continued, “We have a young team and I believe that the future will be good for us. The team has the link between capabilities, experience and club habits.”
He stressed, “Bayern Munich has a very good team and they are great in transitions and they have a great and very dangerous striker, but we can be better and we will try to do that.”
He added, “The Champions League final is the best match and it is where we want to be, and I want to play another final.”
The first leg ended in a draw with two goals for each team at the Allianz Arena.
