The Spanish club Barcelona is currently looking to strengthen its midfield with one of the English stars from Newcastle, whose contract has an exceptional secret clause.

Barcelona brought back star Oriol Romeu from Girona last summer, to strengthen the team’s midfield, which is looking for a distinguished player in this position.

The newspaper “Sport” indicated that Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, the English star of Newcastle, has a clause in his contract that stipulates facilitating his transfer to Barcelona.

The newspaper added that Guimarães’ market value is 85 million euros, but the clause in his contract stipulates that he allows a transfer to Barcelona for less than this amount, as the deal will range between 65 and 70 million euros.

However, the reduced amount to include Guimaraes from Newcastle remains large for Barcelona, due to the financial problems it is experiencing, but completing the deal remains not completely excluded.

The Brazilian star is aware of the difficulties that Barcelona is currently facing, but he does not lose hope of moving to its ranks in the future.
