Arsenal star regrets missing the opportunity to move to Real Madrid
One of Arsenal’s prominent players regrets his failed move to Real Madrid last summer.
Real Madrid was looking for a successor to its star, Karim Benzema, who left for free to the Jeddah Football Association, in the past summer Mercato, so he set his sights on German Kai Havertz, the former Chelsea player, but faltering negotiations with the Blues led to his transfer to Arsenal.
According to the Spanish network Defensa Central, Havertz is not satisfied with his current situation within Arsenal.
The Spanish network indicated that Havertz admitted to his teammates in the German national team that not moving to Real Madrid was a bad decision.
The German player regrets losing this opportunity, and told his colleagues that he will look for a way to try to move to the Merengue again.
The Spanish network reported that Havertz is now no longer among Real Madrid’s management options, but it may reconsider the deal if the player becomes available at a low price.
