Rodrigo: I signed for Real Madrid despite my previous agreement with Barcelona!

Rodrigo, Real Madrid player, closed the scenes of his transfer to the Royal Club, despite his agreement with Barcelona.

Rodrygo said in a lengthy interview with the Brazilian “Globo” about the choice between Barcelona and Real Madrid: “Almost everything was finished with Barcelona, we only needed to sign contracts, and I asked my father: “Nothing from Real Madrid?” So, I asked to wait until weekend”.

And he continued: “We had a match against Vitória, I scored three goals, provided an assist, we won 5-2, and during the match Real Madrid called my parents to ask if I wanted to move to the Royals and my father already knew my answer.”

He continued, “The next day I was playing video games outside the house, my mother was with me, and my father left in the morning without saying anything.”

He concluded his speech by saying: “He came home at the end of the day, then went to my room and found two shirts for Real Madrid and Barcelona. He took both shirts and told me now to choose, and my choice was Real Madrid.”
