Heung-min Son is the first Asian to achieve a centenary in Premier League

Heung-min Son, Tottenham Hotspur player, is the first Asian player to score 100 Premier League goals.

Heung-min Son scored a goal for Tottenham against Brighton today, Saturday, in the match that ended with a 2-1 victory for Spurs in the 30th round of the local competition.

According to the “Opta” network, Heung-min Son is the first Asian player to score 100 goals in the English Premier League, and the second player from Tottenham to reach this achievement after his current colleague Harry Kane.

Son’s goals came in 260 matches, and he scored a “hat-trick” 3 times, noting that he provided 50 assists.

Heung-min Son was the first Asian player to win the Premier League’s top scorer award, when he achieved this achievement last season equally with Egyptian Mohamed Salah, with 23 goals each.

During the current season, the South Korean star scored 7 goals in the English Premier League.
