For the first time in its history, Napoli qualified for quarter-finals of Champions League
The Italian club, Napoli, officially qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, after it repeated its victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, 3-0, on Wednesday evening.
The Italian Napoli and German Frankfurt match was held at Diego Armando Maradona in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16.
Osimhen scored two goals for Napoli in the 45 + 2 and 53 minutes, then Zelinski added the third goal from the penalty kick in the 64th minute.
Napoli had won the first leg against Frankfurt, 2-0, in the match that took place on February 21.
With this qualification, Napoli will participate for the first time in its history in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Three Italian clubs (Milan, Inter and Napoli) will be present in the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in 17 years, specifically from the 2005-2006 season.
