Unstoppable .. Haaland’s historic achievement tops headlines of England’s newspapers

English newspapers highlighted the historic achievement of Erling Haaland, the star of the Manchester City attack, after his historic achievement in the Champions League.

Haaland scored 5 goals in Manchester City’s (7-0) victory over Leipzig, yesterday evening, Tuesday, in the second leg of Champions League round of 16.

Haaland became the third player to score 5 goals in one Champions League match, after Lionel Messi with Barcelona (2012) and Luiz Adriano with Shakhtar (2014).

The newspaper, “The Sun”, said: “Haaland scores 5 goals in 35 minutes to set Champions League record books.”

While the newspaper “Daily Mail” published a report in which it said: “He cannot be stopped.. Erling Haaland beats Kylian Mbappe and becomes the youngest player to score 30 goals in the Champions League.”

The newspaper pointed out that the 24-year-old star reached this historic figure in record time.

The newspaper “The Guardian” published a report entitled “Haaland shows his extraordinary strength with five goals against Leipzig.”

SportBible highlighted Haaland’s decisiveness, stating that the Norwegian star needed only 30 touches to score the 5 goals.
