Arteta: I am not surprised by what Haaland did..and Nadal is my idol

Arsenal coach Michael Arteta stressed the importance of beating Sporting Lisbon tomorrow night, Thursday, in the European League.

Arteta said in statements to the press conference: “We seek to win against Lisbon, as they deal well on the field.”

He added, “We seek to repeat what we did in Lisbon, Portugal, but we have to do better in tomorrow’s match.”

And about the level of Erling Haaland, the Manchester City striker .. he said: “What he did is incredible, and I am not surprised at his level this year, because when you look at what he did in the past, and also look at everyone around him, he is improving more and more.”

And he concluded: “My idol is Rafael Nadal, who has a great mentality and returns well more and more.”
