Manchester United announces that it will not file an appeal against Casemiro’s suspension

Manchester United has announced that it will not file an appeal against the ban on Brazilian player Casemiro.

Casemiro had received a straight red card during his team’s match against Southampton, in the English Premier League, which ended in a goalless draw.

Manchester United issued an official statement, not intending to file an appeal against Casemiro’s 4-match ban, on the grounds that he was sent off against Southampton.

Casemiro will miss 4 matches for Manchester United, against Fulham in the FA Cup quarter-finals against Fulham, Newcastle United, Brentford and Everton in the English Premier League.

Casemiro was suspended for 4 matches, after he was sent off earlier this season in the English Premier League, when he received a red card in the Crystal Palace match.

Casemiro will naturally participate in the next match in the European League, in the second leg of the round of 16 against Real Betis.
